Introducing the Administration Team at Prosperity Health
Introducing Michelle
Residential Care Officer | Disability Support Specialist
Michelle joins Prosperity Health as a Residential Care Officer, bringing with her more than seven years of frontline disability and Specialist Disability Accommodation experience and a genuine passion for person centred care. She began her career in Australia as a Disability Support Worker and progressed steadily into Team Leader, Accommodation Manager and Service Manager roles, where she was trusted to run homes, manage rosters and advocate for participants at the highest level. That journey has given her a rare combination of hands on care and operational leadership, and a deep understanding of what good support truly looks like.
Her qualifications reflect that depth. Michelle holds a Diploma of Community Services, a Certificate IV in Disability and a Certificate IV in Mental Health, and is trained in Support Coordination, First Aid and CPR. Throughout her career she has worked closely with Support Coordinators, Trustees, the Office of the Public Guardian and allied health teams, preparing service agreements, leading plan reviews and designing day programs that genuinely reflect what each participant wants from life.
What sets Michelle apart is the warmth she pairs with that professionalism. A trained chef earlier in her career, she has a natural gift for creating a home that feels like one, sharing meals, building routines and bringing calm and dignity to everyday support. For the participants she works with, that means an advocate who listens closely and a carer who is fully present. For her colleagues, it means a steady and experienced presence who quietly lifts the standard of care around her.
Michelle embodies the values that define Prosperity Health, perseverance, compassion and an unwavering commitment to helping every individual live an extraordinary life. We are proud to welcome her to the team, and we know the people in our care will feel the difference she makes.
